Great Achievement

Share on:

Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness. – Napoleon Hill

I spent a lot of time thinking about this quote, and I’m not sure how I feel about it.  I don’t necessarily believe that great achievement is born of great sacrifice.  I don’t think you have to give anything up to achieve success.  I think you have to have a plan, and believe in yourself and put forth effort, but yu don’t have to sacrifice.  To me, sacrifice implies loss, and you can’t achieve if you are losing something.  That’s just my opinion.
