It’s All About Perception

Share on:

We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are. – Anaïs Nin

Who we are, and where we are emotionally effects how we see things.  If I’m having a bad day, and I walk into a room where people are laughing, I’d probably start thinking they were laughing about me.  If I’m in a good mood, I’d probably just ask what was so funny.  Your mood, your state of mind influence you in so many ways, and they really influence how you perceive things.  Perception is, of course, a very individual thing, but sometimes you need to take a step back, and try to take yourself out of how you are viewing things.
