Recipe for Success

Share on:

To succeed, you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you. ~ Tony Dorsett

I watch my students every day, and it saddens me so much when I realized that most, if not all of them are missing that something that motivates them.  They have nothing to hold on to, and nothing to inspire them.  They exist.  They live day to day.  I watch my co-workers and myself, try desperately to find something to inspire them, but no matter how hard they try, none of us have found that elusive, special something that reaches out and grabs these students.

I’ve thought about it a lot, and I’ve come to the conclusion that nobody can “GIVE” that elusive something to students.  They have to find it on their own – it’s something we all need to find.  Never give up looking for that something that moves you, for when you find it, you can and will achieve success!
