We are so accustomed to disguising our true nature from others, that we end up disguising it from ourselves. – La Rochefoucauld
Do you remember the last time you really felt 100% comfortable in your own skin? When you were happy with who you are, how you looked and what you did? Do you even know who you really are any more? We get pushed in pulled as we’re growing up and molded into who our parents, teachers and peers think we ought to be. When we’re adults, we work so hard to cultivate a certain image and act a certain way, that we never really get the chance to be ourselves.
Why not take some time and think about when you feel most comfortable with yourself and the most relaxed. Try and find the real you that’s buried deep inside and let that person out! I’m guessing that the person you keep buried deep inside is pretty amazing. Why not show him or her to the world?
