Who Are You

Share on:

Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.

We all want mor than we have.  I don’t think I can think of a single person who is looking around saying “Yes, I have absolutely everything that I ever wanted.”  There is nothing wrong with wanting more, and working to get more, but if you let it consume you, and it becomes the only thing that you live for, well that’s not a good thing.

questionmarkThe bigger question is, how do you act when you’ve achieved a big goal, or gotten something that you’ve worked hard for.  Are you arrogant and full of yourself, are you over the moon happy, or do you feel joy and gratitude?  I’m hoping it’s a combination of all three.  You may think it’s not good to be full of yourself, and you’re right.  Too much arrogance is a very bad thing, but it’s okay to be proud of yourself, and confident in your abilities to achieve.  It’s great to be over the moon happy, but the most important thing is to remember to be grateful for what you’ve achieved and recieved.
