Looking for Love

Share on:

Love isn’t something you find. Love is something that finds you. — Loretta Young

I was going to make the quotes this week all love related because of Valentine’s Day, but then I thought better of it.  All Valentine’s Day does, in my opinion, is make those who are in relationships stressed out over the getting and giving of gifts, or it makes you feel bad because you’re not IN a relationship.  That’s GlowingHeartnot what it should be all about.  Love is.  That’s it.  Love is.  You can’t find it, you can’t make it happen, it just IS.  Granted, when it’s in your life, you need to WORK at it but you can’t make love happen.  You can be open to receiving it, but you can’t walk up to a person and say “Love me, damn it.”  Well you can, but you may get arrested for stalking.  For love to happen, you need to open your heart up to the possibility.  Smile, go places, talk to people, yes maybe even flirt a little.  Love is out there, and it WILL find you when the time is right.
