Take That Leap of Faith

Share on:

Don’t be afraid to take a big step if one is indicated; you can’t cross a chasm in two small jumps. – David Lloyd George

We’ve all heard the expression, take a leap of faith, and while it’s hard to do, sometimes it’s the only option.  When I was really young, there was a EKdaredevil called Evel Knievel, and one of his stunts was to try and jump across Snake River Canyon on his motorcycle.  I’m quite sure that when he was planning that jump, he didn’t say, “Well, I’ll try and jump halfway across and from there, finish it out.”  That wouldn’t have worked and he would have ended up in the river.  He went out all out made the one giant leap.  There are lots of times in life where you have to make that one big giant step when everything in you is saying don’t go all out.   Be bold, be daring, be courageous and take that leap.  You have no idea what amazing things could be waiting for you on the other side!
