Play To Your Strengths

Share on:

It’s your life. Be sure you’re playing to your strengths instead of simply to other people’s weaknesses. – Kelly Rudolph

The first time I read this quote, I immediately flashed back to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and the false Professor Moody telling Harry to “Play to your strengths.”  But this quote isn’t really about Harry Potter, it’s about being true to yourself and being the best you can be.  It doesn’t matter what somebody else can, or cannot do.  What matters is what you are capable of, and what you can do that would make you an even better person.  Play to your strengths.  Find out what you’re good at and work to get better, but more importantly, figure out where YOU are struggling and find a way to make yourself stronger.
