Go out and chase your dreams no matter how crazy it looks. – Shanice Williams
Yes, I’m going to talk about my book yet again. Sorry, but if I’m going to say chase your dreams, I have to talk about chasing my dreams. I’m a firm
believer in practice what you preach, and I can’t really talk to you and say that you should chase your dream if I haven’t chased mine. I may never write another book again, but that doesn’t matter. I had a dream, it was a crazy dream, but I went out and I did it anyway, and it feels great!
One think you have to realize is that no dream is crazy. Sure it may seem crazy to me, or my dream may seem crazy to you. Who cares? I’m not asking you to go after my dream. That’s my job, just like it’s up to you to chase your dreams. Don’t let anybody judge you, or your dreams. Go after them with all your heart.
What happens when you achieve a dream? Honestly, I always thought that I’d feel kind of let down after I did something I’ve always dreamed of. I figured the build up would be so big in my mind that after it would just be like “oh, that’s it?” That didn’t happen for me. I’ll admit to being scared when my finger hovered over the submit button on the kindle publishing site, but I pressed it, and I felt exhilarated! I felt scared too, but the exhilaration was stronger. Don’t you want to feel that way? You can, you just have to chase your dream.
