Don’t Compare Yourself to Others

Don’t compare yourself to others. No one in the entire world can do a better job of being you, than YOU!

For so many years, my biggest hair goal (yes, I have hair goals, don’t laugh) was to have hair like Julia Roberts in the movie Pretty Woman. I loved the color, the length and the style so much. It didn’t matter if the style was going to look horrible on me, or I just didn’t have the right texture hair for it, I wanted it. Then one day I realized that was kind of stupid. Julia Roberts had great hair – for Julia Roberts, not so much for me. I’m not Julia Roberts and i shouldn’t try to be her. What works for her is probably not going to work for me. I need to focus on being me – cause honestly, I kind of rock, when I let myself.
