Enjoy Who You Are

“Enjoy who you are, don’t hate yourself for who or what you aren’t.”  ~Unknown

Boy oh boy is this a lesson I need to learn – desperately. I will be 100% honest here, I don’t enjoy who I am, and I don’t like who I am. I am always telling myself I’ll be happier when I have more money, have bigger home and the biggest one of all, lose the bajillion pounds I need/want to lose. Okay maybe a bajillion is an exaggeration, but I do have to lose weight. The thing is, none of those things are going to change the person that I am. I need to learn to accept myself for who I am, and make a list of my good qualities. And I do have good qualities, I just refuse to see them. What about you, do you have good qualities that you’re not seeing? Take a minute and make a list of all the good and amazing qualities and characteristics you have. I bet there are way more than you think they are. I’m going to do it too. I’m going to make a list of the good things about me, and I’m going to read it every day. I’m going to learn to like the person that I am!
