Smile

There are hundreds of languages in the world, but a smile speaks them all – Anonymous

It’s very true, a smile works in every language, and it always gets your point across. I used to work for this one company, and I can remember so many times, I’d be walking through the building. I wouldn’t be in a bad mood, I wouldn’t be in a good mood, I’d just be lost in thought about whatever work related mission I was on – or about what I might be doing that night. Inevitably, I would bump into our sales manager who would chastise me for not smiling.

Honestly, I used to think he was NUTS.  I mean seriously, who walks around smiling like an idiot all day?  Well, he did, and now I do.  And you know what else?  I’m happier for it, and so are the people around me that I smile at.

So smile and watch the reactions of those around you, and more important, watch yourself and see your mood improve.
