The Road to Happiness

Share on:

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost. ~H. Jackson Browne

Happiness looks different to everybody. The things that make you happy can and will be different than what makes your best friend, your
sister, brother, neighbor or spouse happy.  Some people may find the pursuit of knowledge as their way to happiness, while somebody else may find happiness in an intense exercise regime.  So if different things make different people happy, it stands to reason that their journey to happiness is going to look very different from yours or mine.  So figure out what makes you happy and hope on your road and take your journey to happiness.  Don’t worry if there is nobody else on your road.  It’s YOUR road.  Just keep doing what you love and encouraging those around you to do what they love , and though your journey may be different, you can rest easy knowing you’re both heading toward happiness.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. – Robert Frost
