No Negativity Allowed

You must not under any pretense allow your mind to dwell on any thought that is not positive constructive optimistic kind.  – Emmet Fox

It is so easy to get caught in the trap of negative thinking, and once you’re there, it’s so hard to get out. The best possible thing to do is to not fall into that trap, right? However, this is real life, and and negativity happens. There are just days when you feel like nothing is going right and even less is going your way. Try, try, try to just let days like that kind of roll right off your back. Don’t dwell on the negative things that are happening.  Instead, find every happy, positive thing you can.  Maybe it’s a sunset, or a hug from someone special.  Maybe you can pop a dvd into the player and watch a comedy.  Dance around your living room with the music turned up as loud as it will go – do whatever it takes to ban the negativity from your life. You can do it, and you’ll be happier when you do.
