I’m sure many of you have seen the bumper sticker that reads “The one who dies with the most toys wins.” It’s a fun concept, because heck, who doesn’t 
want lots of toys, right? But true success is not measured by the things that you have. To me, true success is measured by how happy you are. If you are living a good life, being a good person, and you have a lot of laughter and you love with all your heart, you are a success.
These are not onerous tasks – to live well, you simply have to care about yourself and about others. Laughter, as Reader’s Digest says, is the best medicine. Laugh often, there is nothing better in this world than a good laugh, unless it’s a good laugh shared with a friend or loved one. Don’t forget to love often…share the goodness that is inside of you, share the laughter with someone. Every person that you touch in a positive manner is one that you have loved. These three simple tools, live well, laugh often and love much are the keys to true success.
