Take Time to Enjoy the Day

“Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.” – Oprah Winfrey

We are entering what I call “the busy season.” School is starting, an before you know it, we’ll be hitting Halloween. And then after Halloween, things really get crazy with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Most of us have careers to contend with, and kids (and ourselves) to get here, there and everywhere. When you factor in household chores and other commitments, things can get really crazy. Not that crazy is bad, but sometimes it can be overwhelming. We go and do so much that we sometimes don’t have a chance to even enjoy the benefits of all our hard work. But don’t worry, even if today is a hectic crazy day and you don’t get a chance to kick back and relax, don’t sweat it. Tomorrow is another day with another opportunity to take some time for you.
