Be True to You

Your only obligation in any lifetime is to be true to yourself. – Richard Bach

I love Richard Bach.  I read Jonathan Livingston Seagull when I was a tween, and it was the first book that ever caused me to actually think about what I was reading.  When I was a bit older, I read Illusions and my love affair with Richard Bach began.  I swear, the man could publish his grocery list and I’d find meaning in it.  But this isn’t about finding meaning in a grocery list, or even about finding meaning in a Richard Bach book.  We need to find meaning in who we are and the things that we do.  I need to be the person I was meant to be, and not the person other people are trying to make me be, and so do you.  It’s time for us to take a good long look at ourselves and decide if we are happy being who we are and doing what we are doing.  Look deep within yourself and  find out who you are – be true to you!
