Follow Through to Success

Share on:

When you get right down to the root of the meaning of the word ‘Succeed,’ you find that it simply means to follow through.—F. W. Nicho

I want to be successful at many different things, but after reading this quote, I realized I’m not going to be successful at most of them.  Why?  Because there is no follow through.  I’ve been saying for years that I want to write a book.  I’ve started several different books in several different genres, including short stories, non-fiction, fiction/romance, and children’s books.  I’m NEVER going to be an author though because even though I’ve started, I haven’t followed through.  I never finished writing, I didn’t edit, I didn’t submit, or resubmit them.

I am not going to succeed if I don’t follow through with what I started.  I may never become a published author even if I do follow through, but I have a better chance of succeeding if I do.
