Are You Risking Your Future?

Share on:

He who spends time regretting the past, loses the present and risks the future. – Quevedo

History is great – in fact, in school, history was one of my favorite subjects.  You can learn so much from studying the past.  You just have to make sure you don’t get so caught up in the past, that you forget about the future.  It’s good to look back on things that have happened, both good and bad, to ensure that the good continues and to learn from the not so good.  Don’t, however get so caught up on the not so good, and waste too much time regretting mistakes that have been made.  You’ll end up getting yourself trapped in the past (at least emotionally) and you won’t be able to move past those mistakes and not so good things to enjoy the wonderful and amazing things that lie ahead!
