Be Your Own Hero

Share on:

You’ve got to be your own hero, you have to find something worth fighting for. Go out and find your own dream now

Are you scratching your head and wondering where the heck this quote came from?  It’s okay, unless you are a tv geek (much like myself) you probably have never heard this before.  If you ARE a tv geek and happened to be obsessed with the tv series FAME, you may recognize it.  It’s the lyrics to a song, and they have always resonated with me.  You can’t sit around and wait for your dreams to come to you.  You have to go out, find them and GRAB them with both hands.  The same can be said for causes and injustices.  If you see something that bothers you – FIX IT!  Don’t just sit on your hands and wait for someone else to get it done.  You can get it done, you have the power.  Use the gifts that you have been given to fix whats broken and to make your dreams come true.
