Conflict

Share on:

Conflict cannot survive without your participation.
                                               – Wayne Dyer

I have a discussion a LOT with my students, and they really don’t get it.  Every time they have an altercation with someone, or someone “gets up in their face,” they feel the need to react, and usually violently.  They don’t understand that if they don’t react, the conflict will usually die out.

Granted, it’s not easy when someone is screaming at you or ranting and raving to not respond in kind, and even harder to respond with a kind word, but it is very effective.

Try to maintain a peaceful countanance, especially in the face of conflict. Lets spread an attitude of peace.
