Worry gives small things a big shadow. In the end, you can either focus on what’s tearing you apart, or what’s holding you together.
We all have things that we worry about – bills to be paid, work issues, family difficulties – the list is never ending. I’m a champion when it comes to worrying, but I started thinking about it and I realized something. When I fixate on worrying about something, it just makes that something ten times worse in my mind because I’m looking at the problems. Now, I’m not saying ignore your problems, and I’m not even saying don’t worry, because I think that’s pretty much next to impossible. What I am saying is don’t focus on the worrying and on the problems. Acknowledge them, look for solutions, do what you can, and let it go and focus on the good things instead. Yeah, the problems will still be there, but life will be a little more cheerful.
